I’m down 10 pounds since New Years

But I’m not going to celebrate. I’m not going to gloat. I’m not even going to be happy about it.

Because I’ve been here before. I lose a little weight, start feeling good about myself and think, “Wow fat boy, good job. You should reward yourself. Go ahead, eat a donut or two. And skip that next workout, you deserve a break.”

And next thing you know, I’m right back where I was, in about half the time it took me to get there. So, while losing 10 pounds is cool, I’m going to keep moving on. Because I’ve got a long way to go, and it gets harder to lose the next 10 pounds. And the next 10 after that.

So workout.

And drink water.

Keep going.
