Right now I’m reading this book. Not to get huge and bulky, but because I want to get more strength built up for other stuff. I’m reading it based on a recommendation from this article that I’ve mentioned before.
The book has an excellent intro, which you can “peak” at on Amazon here. As well as talking about the lies the fitness industry sells us, the book is a blend of both technical tips and macho lines you’d expect from a strength coach. An example:
“If you substitute plate-to-platform rebound for the work you should be doing with your back, you are a pussy.”
